Jialing's Tai Chi Home Page
[About myself: I'm originally from Beijing, China. I
received my bachelor's degree from Beijing Physical Education Institute and my
master’s degree from University of Missouri-Columbia. My major is Health and
Physical Education and I have been teaching physical education and Tai chi for
over 25 years both in China and in the United States.
[What my students say
One of my students said in her essay: "I used
to have constantly mild back pains, now the movements we make in class have
stopped the pain.
By
practicing Tai Chi, my coordination, concentration and patience have improved a
lot."
Another
said: "I found I lost several pounds from practicing Tai Chi."
"Since
having started Taichi, my blood pressure has dropped dramatically and my asthma
has almost disappeared. I have learned
that you do not need to have an intense workout to gain muscle. All you need is a workout that works all of the muscles. I can feel a difference in the tone of my
muscles. They are not as soft as they
use to be before the class began. At
work, my stress levels have gone down."
"Tai Chi
makes me clam and relax and I can deal with stress much better."
“Before I always got sick. I often had cold and /or cough. I’m now more relaxed and that I have not
gotten sick for a month. Taichi has
really help me to cope with the busy world out there.
